Hi! Thank you for visiting Magnolia Millinery. My name is Nicole Finch & I make one-of-a-kind hats and fascinators for the Kentucky Derby and other special events such as birthdays, weddings, showers, and holiday parties.
I have attended the Kentucky Derby for over a decade and started making my own hats in 2009. After being bombarded by race goers about my pieces, I decided to turn it into a business and that’s how Magnolia Millinery was born.
Originally from New Orleans, I moved to Horse Country to grow my business in 2015. I specialize in unique custom pieces that are paired with client’s outfits to perfection. My style always stands out from the crowd, with a little bit of Southern Charm, a dash of over the top, but always classy.
My pieces have been seen in the Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Oaks, & Breeder’s Cup Winner’s Circles, winning the Longine’s Prize for Elegance Fashion contest at the Preakness Stakes, and singled out in the crowd for air time on NBC. They have been seen gracing the heads of fashion influencers & TV personalities. My clients & I have been featured multiple years running on “Best Hats of Kentucky Derby” lists by Garden & Gun, Forbes, Vogue, USA Today, Daily Mail, and the New York Times, just to name a few.
